Alice Taylors take on Copyright

A great copyright article summed up:
““Piracy” – as done by teenagers, all my friends, pretty much everyone I know, is simply demand where appropriate supply does not exist. Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies – in other words, anti-copying, anti-fair use – are also anti-accessibility. They attempt to block and restrict, and they fail every time. Every single time. To be accessible, work needs to be available, always and to everyone. No delineations, no restrictions: it’s too messy. Too expensive. Too dull.”

RIAA says DRM is Dead
by Mike Guindon on Jul.20, 2009, under General
Torrent freak reports on the RIAA’s claim…. Heres an exerp:
“Jonathan Lamy, chief spokesperson for the RIAA declared DRM dead, when he was asked about the RIAA’s view on DRM for an upcoming SCMagazine article. “DRM is dead, isn’t it?” Lamy said, referring to the DRM-less iTunes store and other online outfits that now offer music without restrictions.”

Are rebills ok to promote?
by Mike Guindon on Jul.16, 2009, under General
Here is a great post by Shoemoney talking about rebills.
http://www.shoemoney.com/2009/07/16/the-only-thing-worth-promoting-is-rebill-offers/
I personally promote them and have not had any issues thus far, but I do stay away from the “Google Fast Cash” ones…. Lets just say a birdie has told me that canceling those types of bizopp offers can be extremely difficult.

Tracking Tidbits
by Mike Guindon on Jun.04, 2009, under General
Ok today I think its important to talk about tracking your campaigns/keywords, for one BIG reason. YOU WILL GET NOWHERE WITHOUT IT!!! So then what do you use to track your campaigns/keywords? Well use what I use, Tracking202.com. They actually have three different versions. 1 paid, 1 free hosted by them at Tracking202.com, and 1 free that you host on your own domain called Prosper202. I personally use Prosper202 because I’m a freak about keeping my info private and I like to have full control over all my data (especially for backups!). But you can use any version you want, they all do the same thing in the end….TRACK! I’ll be putting up some posts soon with way more detail in them about what to track and how to do it using Prosper202, but for now, it’s off to bed.

Welcome!
by Mike Guindon on Jun.01, 2009, under General
First I’d like to say welcome! I decided to give this website a fresh start. I ventured into Affiliate Marketing about 6 months ago and this site is basically to document that journey. I’d also like to use this site as a gateway to get info out and show you the in’s and out’s of Affilate Marketing. So here we go…
